Astronomy Club

A new club is at Canyon View, which is the Astronomy Club. The club is mainly focused on informing more people about science, specifically space, and getting people more interested in science in general. The club started last year in November and has eight members, such as Randy Dexter, Sara Ibette, Dustin Morgan, Seth Lewis

The club President is Jeremy Gunter, a senior, who is also the original founder of the club, and Mrs. Bailey is the club advisor. The club meets up every other week and tries to meet on days that best fit most people’s schedules. The club is open to new members; no prior knowledge is needed. 

If anyone is interested in joining the Astronomy club, Mrs. Bailey and Jeremy can both be reached by email. Doing this will let you know when the next meetup is, so you can try and meet the members.
