Drill at Region

On January 17th, the Canyon View Talons had the opportunity to compete at Regions this year at Delta High School, and they took multiple victories. Not only did they bring home 1st in Military, Dance, and Show, but they took first overall, earning them a 4-peat region champion title! A few of the Drill Team Members, Makaeli Adams, Erica Davis, and Erin Jensen, made All-Region. Six other drill team members qualified for Academic All-Region! Not to mention Nicole Jacobsen and Tilisa Matakaiongo were the top eight Drill Down contestants, Tilisa ending with a strong fourth-place finish! The Talons arrived at Delta High with plenty of time to space all three of their dances on the gym floor, host a team lunch, and get hair and makeup done before they performed at four PM. Through costume malfunctions, injuries, and other challenges, the CV Talons managed to come out on top, even stronger than before!
