Canyon view talons winning 1st place in state for the 4th time in a row. The canyon view talons are our hard working drill team. The talons have spent so much time on their routines  they've put hours of hard work into practices and comps which have paid off yet again.

They have over all won three of their invitationals, their fourth region titles, and fourth state championships. The wins were big to the team because it made their hard work more valuable to them and they get a bonus of not being defeated and can keep up that winning streak.

For their military and dance they got 2nd place overall but in their show they got 1st place. That boosted their score so they were able to win first place overall. The second place team was Morgan. That was a real competition for them because they won first place in their military and dance but in their show they won 3rd. The overall 3rd place was Union.  They had a girl the day before walk off the floor in semis because of a serious injury. But their team showed up the next day ready to fight and it was truly inspiring.

This win was truly inspiring and with the four years of winning it made a big impact on all the girls. Especially Adelyn Young. She has expressed how great full he is for her team. Here is a quote of how it feels to be the captain of a "4 peat" state drill team. “It is such an honor and a privilege to be a 4-peat champion. It gives me so much gratitude to my coaches and my hardworking teammates because without their dedication and love for us it would not have been possible. It also feels a little unreal that my grade will never experience the feeling of getting 2nd place. It is so crazy to think about!’ -Adelyn Young
