Dating Violence Awareness Week

Canyon View High’s amazing student government organization has lots of fun plans for the month of February. Not only is the Sweethearts dance coming up, but student government is planning to sell Crush soda on Thursday, the 13th, to raise money for the Women's Crisis Center. Students can buy a Crush during lunch to give to their crush at school, helping to get everyone in the Valentines Day Spirit! Not to mention, next week is Teen Dating Violence Awareness week. On Tuesday, students are asked to wear orange, Wednesday, students can draw with chalk during lunch, and get free pizza, on Thursday, they can buy Crush soda at lunch, and on Friday, students can play a game of rock paper scissors to win bead necklaces! Students can also purchase singing Valentines from Colla Voce, girls choir, for their friends! Lots of fun activities are planned out for this month, helping to get everyone in the Valentines day spirit!
