At Canyon View High School, there is a week dedicated to helping students and their parents look at how they are doing in school, and what they need to do to improve. This is called CCR Week, which takes place twice in the school year. We already had our fall CCR Week, but from February 3rd to February 7th, Canyon View is running through our spring CCR Schedule.

This year, Canyon View is adding 3 new classes for students to enroll in. Debate, Chinese Dual Immersion, and Chinese Culture and History. The Chinese Dual Immersion program is really only replacing Chinese 1 and 2.

CCR Week is also a great opportunity for teachers. This is a week where they can meet the parents of their students, and have a little check in with them. This provides an opportunity for the parents as well, to come in and see what their students are up to, and how they can help them do better in school from home if needed.

CCR Week also has a shortened schedule, where students get out of school at 1:35, rather than the typical 2:45.
