The Canyon View Talons triumphed over 3A State Drill. The drill team fought their way to the top with 1st in Military, 4th in dance, and 2nd in show. “It was definitely tough and we had a lot of competition. We have worked so hard and I’m so beyond proud that we pulled away with this win!!” Says Military Head Caption, Averi Pace. 

The Talons have a very good program. They have tons of support, from the parents, to the students, and most importantly, each other. The head captains of this season have fought hard to bring up this incredible team. Averi Pace, Aspen Gower, Kamryn Creamer, and Alexa Benson have brought nothing short of positive and uplifting energy to this team. 14 seniors are overwhelmed with emotions at the end of the season. “Words don’t describe how happy I am to win State. What an amazing end to senior year”. Says Senior, Alexa Benson.

The 32 members defended their state title that they won last year. “We are so grateful for all of our support and I’m so proud of each of these girls for putting everything out on the floor! ” said senior Jaci Macinnis. They were prepared and they went out and did what they do best! Canyon View Talons are now back, to back, to back, 3 peat State Champions!
