Scholarship Fair

On February 11nth from 12:30 Pm to 3:00 Pm was the Scholarship Fair at Southwest technical college. Several high school students prepared with personnel portfolios attended the fair.

The Scholarship fair was a collection of small local companies coming together to present simple scholarships for high school students getting ready for college. Many high schoolers attended, presenting portfolios on themselves and answering questions the interviewers asked.

"There were quite a bit of scholarships open” Delaney Richards stated, A Student who attended the fair. “There wasn’t a lot of Canyon View Students”

There were many different companies offering scholarships, many of them being local to Cedar City. 5 buck pizza was offering two $250 dollar scholarships, Bulloch drug was offering three $350 dollar scholarships (only for Cedar High school students).
