Debate Competes at Region

On February 24, 2024, The CVHS Debate team went to Carbon for the region tournament. While the team didn't qualify, there were the some individuals and teams that did. 

  In the debate events seven people qualified: Charlotte Pulica in Lincoln Douglas and Emily Templin and Conner Criswell in Public forum. Alivia Winzenried and Ian Hurst qualifed in Congress and Swayzi Young and Sam James qualified in Policy.

  In speech events, Emily Templin and Charlotte Pulica placed first and second, respectively. In Oratory, Guillia Picci qualified, as did Aunna Brinton in Informative. Taliyah Russell qualifed in Foreign Extemporaneous, Dylan Templin qualifed in Impromptu and Brenna Haley qualified in Interps.
