Falcons Esports Joins the Battle

Canyon View’s Super Smash Bros Ultimate team heads to playoffs for State Competition.

The the first round of playoffs is February 21, 2024. Here, the Falcons will compete for the state title. It will take place in the yearbook room or Mr. Barton’s room though it is an online tournament.

The top competitors to make the three varsity slots are Joshua Phong, Jaxsen Rollins, Luis Hernadez, Kai Hunter, and Tony Felipe. Coach Barton shared “Some other players who are consistently competing for the JV/sub slots are Noah Rock and David Arenas”.
