Senior Night Wins

The CVHS Girls' Basketball crushed Delta on the senior night, February 6 2024. The senior cheerleaders and the senior basketball players were all recognized at the start of the game. It was beautiful with a ballon arch and lots of gifts for these seniors. Their dedication to their sports is quite incredible.You could feel the love in the room for some of these girls couple of last games on the high school team. 

Hallie Newman, Brooklyn Davy, Jordan Davenport, and Kamryn Brush. Are all adored players of the CVHS Girls, Basketball Team. Davenport said her favorite thing about basketball is, “An important person to me once said, five years from now nobody will remember who played the most minutes, who scored the most points. They will remember who you are and what kind of a teammate you are. That is why I love basketball. It's the people you play with”. This tender quote is why basketball is so beloved at Canyon View. 

Girls; Basketball is such a valuable asset to Canyon View. They play multiple games weekly and practice regularly to play the best they can on the court. They’ve had an impressive season,

and it’s not done yet. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season has in store.
