The Iron County Scholarship Fair was a resounding success as multiple students from different schools competed in obtaining scholarships.

Over the past couple of years, Iron County has done a scholarship fair for seniors that are about to graduate. This gives the community a chance to support its younger generation and gives the seniors the chance to get some money before starting their journey into college!

The Scholarship Fair started on Monday, February 5th, at 12:30. Students were excited and nervous and the rooms were filled just from standing outside. Once students actually got into the room there were all different types of students. The tension and anxiety could be felt from everyone. Especially those students partaking in the interviews.

One student said, “The hardest part was doing the first interview.” After the first interview everyone got a feel for the room the room moved like clockwork. Students were jumping from one interview to the next and by the time they figured out what they were doing it was over.

If you are going to be a senior please consider checking out the scholarship fair. You can get amazing funds for participating and it can help you improve your social skills!
