Stay Safe for Day Dates!

With the Valentine's Preference Dance approaching, it's important that students understand the risks of going on Day Dates. Day dates can be very fun, but also very dangerous.

Emery High School has recently lost a student due to an accident while on a day date. This tragic accident has brought a lot of attention to the safety of students while on day dates.

When you are planning a day date, keep in mind the circumstances of where you will be and your surroundings. Do not plan without considering what could go wrong. Driving is a good example. Whether you are driving by yourself or with others, do not show off or try to drive crazy. Be smart while driving because a crash will effect more lives than just yours.
