No school was held on Monday, February 19th in honor of President's Day.
President's Day is a federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday in
February.

Famously, it's known as George Washington's birthday; however, Washington's birthday is
on the 22nd. This is because we do not celebrate Washington alone. The holiday
is scheduled in the middle of Washington's birthday as well as Abraham
Lincoln’s birthday on the 12th.
George Washington will be turning 292 this year, and Abraham Lincoln will be 215!
The purpose of Presidents Day is ultimately to celebrate the past U.S. presidents. Plus, it gives
students a day off from school.
