Wrestling Divisional's

Starting Friday, January 31st, and continuing through Saturday, February 1st, Canyon View’s Wrestling Team attended the wrestling divisional and earned 1st place overall! Divisionals took place at South Summit High School, in Kamas, Utah. Coach Lowry says that, incredibly, “twelve students made finals,” and “twenty-one wrestlers qualified for state!”

Of the twelve wrestlers that made it to finals, three of them, Kooper Nowell, Dax Nicoll, and Alex Crawley took first place! Although everybody who made finals was from the Varsity Team, many of the wrestlers on the JV Team performed well enough to qualify for state.

Coach Lowry says that the wrestlers did very well at divisionals, especially since “they won first place for the first time ever!”
