For the first time, Canyon View proudly announces Julianne Valarious as athlete and artist of the week! How she balances all of her extracurricular activities in such a graceful manner, no one knows. She is an excellent tennis player, and an angel on the strings of a violin. She takes great pride in her school work, and is a dedicated student. Not only does Julianne kill it in the class, but she always does it with a smile on her face. She is one of the kindest young ladies you will ever come across. Canyon View is proud to call her one of our own.

Other news from the nest includes: CVHS Swimmer, Max Cannon signing with BYU’s swim team and Erin Robinson signing to play softball at Salt Lake Community College.

Heather Rollins, the CVHS Sports Representative chaired the annual student government sponsored “Macho Man” volleyball tournament. Teams competed from all grade levels in pool play followed by a single elimination tournament. The first place team consisted of the following players: Anthony McClune, Josh Butler, Caleb Green, Dawson Talbot, Symon Hunter, Brock Marsh, Axel Bjerga, and Tristin Martinez.

Upcoming events at CVHS include: CVHS Theatre Department’s production of Guys and Dolls, November 17-22, and the CVHS Christmas Ball, Saturday, December 4, 2021. Funds raised from the Christmas Ball go to help CVHS students who are in need this Christmas season.
